Allie Jensen is a junior majoring in Biology. She plans on attending physical therapy school in the future. She is also minoring in Spanish and Music, with organ as her primary instrument. She enjoys playing and listening to music, especially classical music and loves being a tenor saxophone member in the Minnesota Marching Band; it is such a great experience. She is a HUGE Gopher fan as well and loves game days. She looks forward to getting to know more members of the LCM community this year and continuing to grow in her faith.
Allison Cunningham is a sophomore majoring in Psychology with two minors in Spanish Studies and Public Health. She is currently working as a section leader for CLA’s First Year Experience class. She is originally from Champaign, IL. She loves the outdoors, and has hiked in six different national parks (and plans to visit many more)! She also enjoys baking desserts, action movies, and a good cup of coffee. Allison is looking forward to getting more involved in LCM and seeing what the community will accomplish this year.
Brady Wilmer is a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He loves basketball, lifting, and all things fitness. He is also a huge comic book nerd. He is looking forward to being part of LCM this year and growing in his faith with the group.
Claire Erickson is graduating in Spring 2018. She studies English Education, Leadership, and Communication Studies. She enjoys working at Grace Lutheran Church as a Nursery Attendant and at the Gender & Sexuality Center on campus. She also is a Teaching Assistant for the Leadership Minor and First Year Experience Program. She is an intern for Breakthrough Twin Cities, a college access non profit for under resourced students in the Twin Cities. After graduation, she plans to be a high school English teacher and serve as a Child of God in her community.
Emily Mentz is a senior with a double major in Speech-language-hearing sciences and Spanish studies. She currently works as an Access Assistant for the Disability Resource Center and has a passion for the disability community. Emily is interested in bilingual speech therapy, and spent last spring abroad in Ecuador! Emily loves backpacking, reading, good coffee and conversation and can’t wait to see how LCM grows this year!
Eric Scott is a senior in the College of Biological Sciences, majoring in Biology. He is from White Bear Lake, Minnesota and calls himself a true Minnesotan, shown through his love of spending time on the lake and the game of hockey. He loves to spend time with friends and family and cheer on the Gophers! Eric is looking forward to seeing LCM grow as a campus wide community and grow in his faith this year!
Erin Coyer is a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Even though she is interested in engineering, she has always been very active in music through playing various instruments, singing, and dancing. She is excited to begin her journey as a leader at LCM this year and wants to welcome new students and help the community grow.
Jennifer Erickson is a junior majoring in Interior Design and planning to minor in Sustainability, originally from Chanhassen, Minnesota. Aside from LCM, she is a part of the pep band, Interior Design Student Association, and Students for Design Activism. As a leader, she hopes to bring new people to LCM this year and make them feel as welcome as she does.
Jonah Snyder is a sophomore studying computer science. His interests include questions, books, music, and the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. He is a member of the U of M juggling club, and has spent three summers as an assistant baker at Waldsee for the Concordia Language Villages.
Jordan Kleist is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Philosophy. He enjoys kayaking, tennis, ping-pong, and singing in choir. Last summer, he studied abroad in Austria and the Czech Republic. He’s looking forward to another year of sharing Christ through LCM, this time as a servant leader.
Julie Wall is a sophomore in the Carlson School of Management. When not studying Julie enjoys playing piano, guitar, flute, and singing. Julie also enjoys cooking, crafts, and almost any DIY project; this past summer she worked at a quilt shop. Julie is excited to organize cooking LCM this year, as well as continue to be involved in church music.
Kelly Mork is a sophomore from Madison, Wisconsin majoring in Architecture and planning to minor in Sustainability. She currently works in the College of Design DigiFabLab laser-cutting lab and materials store. She enjoys traveling and drinking good coffee, and is looking forward to growing in her faith and welcoming new students to the LCM community!
Libby Witte is a senior Earth Science student in the College of Science and Engineering. Besides LCM, she is also a proud member of Geoclub, GOFIRST, and Voices for Peace women’s choir. She’s also loves volunteering with FIRST Robotics and Mwendo Congo. After all, that’s what she’s all about- being passionate and active in your faith and everything else that is important to you. She looks forward to further growing in her relationship with God and her friends here at LCM for one final year!
Regina Peters is a sophomore double majoring in microbiology and Spanish studies from West Caldwell, New Jersey. She’s addicted to travel, music, languages, and coffee, and is interested a lot in a little bit of everything, from politics to fishing to golf. She can’t wait to build new relationships in the LCM community, and see where the year takes us and our faith!
Walter Young is a junior studying Materials Science and Engineering, with plans of grad school in the future. President of the U of M chess club, he enjoys teaching others the ins and outs of the classic game. He is excited to continue LCM’s commitment to building an inclusive and welcoming community.
